Photographer’s Note

There is a board near the stone. It says:
This huge stone has an irregular square shape. it is 2/5 m. high and some figures have been carved
on three sides of it. The middle figure with 180 Cm. high represents Parthian king Balash. He holds
a bowl in his left hand while stretching his right hand to a fire alter and pouring something in it.
An inscription in 9 lines, in Parthian Pahlavi is written on the fire alter. It reads: This is the figure
of Balash, king of kings, son of Balash, king of kings, grand son...
On the right side of this stone another person is shown who moves towards Balash. Also on the left side of
this figure a man with 163 Cm. high can be seen. His right hand is up an caring something in his left hand.
These figures must be carved between the first to the third centuries A.D
