Photographer’s Note
The shot shows one of the alleys inside the stepped village of Masouleh . As you see, these steps lead us to the mosque of the village seen in the background of the photo.
*
For editing this shot I had to use clone stamp tool in order to remove an electric cable in the FG!
I also should be thankful to the misty atmosphere of the village which has hidden some of the different kind of cables that are really disturbing to the eyes and the originality of the village. I wish they could find a better way to provide all the facilities for the people of the village and at the same time keep this historical village as original as it has been before .

Hi Atousa!
So this is the mosque we see on the other one? I like this composition with the woman in foreground looking at the people and the mosque in background and the stairs leading us there. Good dof and colours!

Hi Atousa
Excellent POV. The eye goes from the woman down the steps to the mosque. Your PP was very effective. Sorry I am out of smileys. Later.

Hi Atousa,
well, light is a bit pale here, but the image formation with the curves leading to your main subject is very good. Also the different people from the lady in the FG to the boys in the back add to the perspective and depth.
Compliments, Chris

Hello Atousa:
I like the perspective you've used and the composition established with the first lady sitting on the plane.
There is good depth of field, and the tones are well defined, with a good balance in the frame.
The 2009 is full of success and happiness for you and your whole family.
A hug, John

Salaam Atousa,
The staircase and the fence make a great lead-in, inviting the eye to dive into the image to reach the mosque, maybe imitating what the woman in the FG is doing. The vibrant colours of her clothes gives an extra punch to the photo and she is also very well placed, compo wise. It's a beautiful photo!
Regards, José.

Hello Atousa, Power poles & lines as you said are usually an ugly sights & although they make life easier they also take away some of the beauty these old tows & villages have to offer. Here thanks to the weather & your skill they are not a real problem. Nice interesting scene with great depth, from the well placed lady in the FG, down the steps to the Mosque & beyond. Well composed with good natural colour & excellent detail.
Thank you.

I like the way you have composed the image with the seated lady in the foreground looking at the same view we see. The perspective also works well to lead the eye into the scene. Cables are a problem to photographers all over the world. You have done an excellent job to minimise them

Hi Atousa,
Your composition of this picture is really very good, the fence and the strairs are moving down and leading the eye to the beautiful valley far below. The woman up front is a very important part of the picture as well!
Good colours and sharpness!

hi Atousa
I like this kind of steps going up and down and although tough for elderly people, it does provide good exercise for them. Very nice view up here on the top looking down. I like the steps along the side of the houses here showing life and leading to the green valley below. This is a nice view of the countryside of Iran.

Salam A,
very nice perspective of the steps which lead us through the image. The woman in her colorful clothes is a very good focal point to start the imagem reading. I like the natural lighting and the colors overall. Your job on the clone stamp tool is perfect...I just can't see where you did it in the photo. Well done!

Dear Atousa,
I remember quite well the previous shot of this place which was fantastic in itself but this one is even better. The main reason is the inclusion of the lady in the FG and the stairs that lead our eyes among the beautifully shaped houses towards the well centered mosque. It's also nice to see a couple of legs on the roofs :))
Great shot.

Salam Atousa,
I have to say that you've a good job with coloning out the cable, it has disappeared without a trace. The combination of the composition and the title is very suggestive and I like the Compo a lot with the natural descent of the steps leading the eye nicely to the mosque.
Thanks for sharing

You created a fine perspective & lead-in with the stairs which lead us right into the picture, right upto the green dome of he church which I remember from your earlier picture of this place. Inclusion of the lady is good in the compo. & also provides depth here. Good work!

Hello Atousa,
very good POV, and very interesting perspective view, with the stairs going downwards right to the Mosque! Including a person in the FG was a very good decision both for the balance of the composition and for enlivening the scene :)
I like the curvy lines of the stairs and of the row of houses, which helps the eyes travel from object to object in the photo.
Best wishes!

Hello Atousa,
Excellently build point of view while including a lady and steps leading us to small mosque with colorful facades. I like authentic, natural ambiance in your well taken photo. Pots of red flowers front of windows, playing children, green textures are excellent additions. Congratulations. Have a nice weekend.

Hi Atousa,
This is a really neat shot! I love the perspective. It looks steep.
I hear you about the humans! We have managed to ruin many lovely landscapes with telephone poles, electrical lines, etc. It is all the worse with places of historical significance.
Well done :)
Warmly, Rachel

Strange, I was in that village too and have precise memories of the place and its architecture ; but I don't remember the mosque, I wonder if it has been built recently... The bright colours in the FG are fitting the rest of the photo and one feels totally inside the frame - maybe is it because I remember the peaceful atmosphere of the place ?

Cath.
