Grave-stone of Nasereddin shah Qajar the king of Persia (1848 - 1896), Karimkhani corner, golestan Palace.
This magnificent marble gravestone used to decorate the grave of the assassinated king in Shah Abdolazim's shrine, in the south of Tehran. After the revoluition of 1979, the Islamic fanatics moved it many times and at last it was located by the ministry of the culture in its current place. On this large piece of marble, the king is carved with his royal costumes with 2 angels above his head. tile-works of the walls and the ceiling is reflexed on the glass shield of the stone.
