Critiques [Translate]

Hamid,

Welcom to TE! I saw that you were wanting some critiques on your work so I'm taking a look at them all. The desert is a very interesting subject, and there are a couple of basic things you could do to this image to improve it:

1. Straighten the horizon- it looks like it needs about a 2 degree clockwise adjust
2. Remove the scratches and the lens flare- they are very distracting. You could use patch tool to do this or healing brush.
3. Tone down the sun. It appears overexposed and because it's in an awkward position in the image compositionally it is quite distracting. Although viewpoints on bright suns vary on TE so some think it's ok.
4. Somehow the image feels flat- I think adjusting the contrast could give it more feeling of depth, and maybe using a curves adjustment to selectively darken some areas...a vignette might look nice on this image because it would draw attention more to the center of the image.

These are just some ideas- it helps people to be interested in critiquing your work if you write a note about the place as well.

-Kristi
