[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of Iran's most holy cities, second only to Mashhad, Qom is a centre of Shi'ite learning.
The town centre houses the shrine of Hazrat-é Masumeh, the burial place of Fatima, sister of Imam Reza (Mashhad), who died in qom in 816 AD. an important place of pilgrimage for Shi'ite Muslims, but may walk around outside the complex where it is possible to view the magnificence of the golden dome.

The town is also famous for a pistachio sweet called sohan. One sweet you must try is the delicious pistachio - friable known as sohan, which is produced locally and is available in almost any main street of the town. Sohan becomes an obsession once you've tasted it.

A fun picture. So many different boxes of food. A nice shop scene.

Excellent TrekEarth post; it really teaches us a lot about the world. I think the composition of this photo is very good. The expression on the boy's face is very nice too.

Nice shop compo(i like market and shop shots too!) with boy well placed in the picture, good display of that sweet, nice colors and sharpness and a good note about sohan which sounds delicious!

I can feel the oil and sweetness in my mouth whenever I see and hear about the SOHAN and there every one is Haji Hussain named but could not find the origional Haji..TFS.

Nice image with so much around, i like the expression on this face and the hope and glitter in his eyes. A good image where you have good eye contact with the subject and have taken his surrounding well as well which looks like a shop full of goodies.
