Photographer’s Note
These guys were sitting and blocking the road while playing their nice traditional music, and some other [not shown in this picture] were dancing to the music. I was not aware that they were actually welcoming us to their village. So, we got off the bus, and watching their performace. They offered us some cookies [will upload the picture later]. However, all of the performances were done by men, no women involved in this ceremony. Women only watched from sides of the road.
Very interesting culture and nice people. This picture was captured at a small village at South Khorasan Province, about two hour drive from Birjand, capital of the province.

Hi, Ben! It's interesting to see those things not made just for tourists, as usually happens in many places. Nice shot! It's amazing to observe their expressions! Well done! Regards! Miguel.

Il manque le son ...très instructif concernant les vêtements locaux..pas très souriants.
Une belle capture de la vie.

Very thanks for this nice shot and useful note. it is an excellent capture. persian traditional music's origin is from Khorasan, and from Birhand specially.
