Arg-e Bam was the largest adobe building in the world, before it was devastated in the 2003 earthquake.Located in Bam, a city in the Kerman province of southeastern Iran, the citadel is listed by UNESCO as part of the World Heritage Site “Bam and its Cultural Landscape”. This enormous citadel on the Silk Road was built before 500 BC . It is not known for certain why it was abandoned.

Interesting note and impressive adobe castle.
The image is a little overexposed, but it is really nice.

تحيات Mehrdad - This is a wonderful shot of a unique and magnificent structure. I'm not convinced that the shot is overexposed. Looking at the histogram it seems fine but I have done a WS which just brings out a little more tonal contrast. I hope you don't mind. I would love to see this with my own eyes a fascinating place and well composed shot. The figures help me to understand the scale. Warm regards Rosemary
