The Greek Ship is an old decayed ship landed at southwest coast of Kish Island, On July 26, 1966, Kish Island residents saw a huge ship beached on the western coral coast of the island. The real reason of why the ship was trapped is not clear.

Most people believe that the reason is the fact that there are few lighthouses in the area or maybe an error in the calculations of the captain. Several experts researched on how to remove the ship. It was concluded concluded that it was not practical to move the ship. The decision was made to keep it in place.
Over time, corrosion and oxidation caused the decay of the metal trunk of the ship. People were able to gain access to the ship for a short time. This caused the rear part to collapse. The area attracts many tourists who come to view the sunset. The ship was built in 1943 by William Hamilton Company in Port Glasgow, Scotland. Ship Weight was 7601 Tons and its length was 136 Meters. When stranded, she flew the Greek Flag.

Hello Mehrdad,
Nice soft colors of the sunset. I liked the shadow of the huge ship looking like the Titanic. The shadows of the two people make the composition interesting.
Nice POV. best regards
Sibel

Wonderful shot, Mehrdad. Crisp and clear, with good light and really sharp silhouettes. A note explaining how the ship got grounded would have been useful!
Regards,
Ryno

Veru good composition. It is weird to see human figures so close to the ship. The black silouhette of the ship makes a special atmosphere.

Good comp, gentle colours. Interesting shot. Shame there is no description. Regards, TW

Hi Mehrdad, good picture, you've dealt vert well with colours and shadows, good compo, and great colours. Chau chau,

Maria

PS: some notes?

Hello, Mehrdad -

A very interesting photo! The positioning of the two people in the water keeps it from being too balanced.

But what were they doing there? And why is the ship where it is? We really need a note explaining the scene.

Regards,
Dan

Hi Mehrdad

Very lovely silhouette of ship and two people. Love the ray of sun on the background completely covering by the silhouette of the ship. Very technical and amazing composition with stunning POV.

Regards,

Lopshang.

Hi,
Nice shot of a Greek Ship in the Iran... Good PoV relative to the sunset causes dark contours of the big ship and small people... I like that.
Maby it's only my whimsy but i don't like that small blue frame :-)

Regards from Poland, Michael.
