Photographer’s Note
Air shaft or air catcher is an air conditioning system in the architecture of southern parts of Iran. This system conducts air blowing from any direction into the building and allows the hot summers to be pleasant for the residents of this region.

It is an excellent shot in the good TE spirit which is to show the world. In this case, it explains us a simple way of cooling the interior of the buildings without the use of expensive AC’s. The shot itself is very good, with natural colours and good definition. Well done.
