Photographer’s Note
A traditional Boat workshop in Qeshm .These vessels are called "Lanch" in the native language .A lanch takes about one year to build and costs about 250000USD .Lanch plays a particular role in transporting goods and passengers in the Persian Gulf .In other parts of Iran we call the "Lenj".
The vast land of Iran is a demonstration of the most beautiful landscapes imaginable, streching from the Caspian sea to the Persian Gulf .
The beautiful Island of Qeshm with an area about 1335skm lies amid the persian gulf like a magnificent gem.
Qeshm is the biggest island in the world that is not a country and is bigger than 16 countries in the world. The nature is beyond anyone's expectation and I'll be sending shots of my extra-ordinary visit to the island I call heaven.

Hello Mohammad
Is this vessel made completely from wood? I'm amazed... such a great deal of craftmanship seems to lie behind it.
The placing of teh vessel within the frame makes for a very well composized photo.
I must add that the landscape behind looks very minimalistic, almost on the verge of too minimalistic but the addition of this boat makes up and creates a nice interesting setting.
Thank you for sharing.

Hello, Mohammad--
Nice work here, filling the space at left with the interesting cloud formations, and then having the boat pull very dramatically out of the frame. The hint of sea visible in the distant left helps make the scene make sense. Thanks!

Your photos usually have very striking skies. This one is more simple (although still a lovely colour) and the subject matter (the boat) fills the frame well. Excellent shot.

Congratulations, very nice shot & very useful note, though I'm not sure about the price. Lanches are made by wood, you can build a 50m reinforced-concrete highway bridge with this amount of money!
By the way, your shot is really marvelous.
