Photographer’s Note
A prayer in one of the main Mosques in Shiraz, Southern Iran.
Shiraz, which is an interesting city by itslef, is also near Pesepolis, a magnificent archeological site.

Hello stefano. A subtle and at the same time strong photo. The mosque offers the ideal frameworks. The composition is absolutely exemplary. Compliment to this skillfully realized photo. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Hello Stefano,
Still beautiful mosque photos with a good light, incredible colors on the walls and the man, dressed in black giving a reference both for size and color.
Iran is still not a place I will go soon for tourism due to the political context, but for sure it remains a place worth to be seen.
Yves.

Hello Stefano,
An interesting view of the beautiful islamic architecure with apse of its colourful tiles. Good play of light and shadows enshrining the praying man.

Hi Stefano,
really interesting picture with this person in the middle praying. He was the missing element to this wonderful composition with the arc nicely painted with flowers.
Cheers,
Edi

Hi Stefano,
Such beautiful and intricate detail in the tile work and it is in nice contrast with the almost bland bricks within the archway. The man is a great element as he sits in the patch of light and gives us a good idea about the use of the structure.

aaah getting better...the iran series is getting better..if the man was praying its advised not to stand in front..seem youve broken the rules :)))
to ofcourse capture the prayer in the almost symmetric shadow..to the arch..
good stuff
cheers

Beautiful composition Stefano, again showing the fascinating exteriors of these mosques. The lighting is perfect, as I like the arch the light makes with the shadows on the man. Great eye!

David

Hi Stefano,
Nice use of the symetry of that picture.
Colors and ight are good.
Did that man see you? Wasn't he angry ay you? I'm always afraid of intruding in such circumstances...
Cheers
Marc

Nonostante i velamenti mi hai fatto venir proprio voglia di fare un salto da quelle parti...questa foto è davvero preziosa...io non avrei avuto coraggio di sparare un clic proprio mentre il pregante fissava l'obiettivo...
