I like this composition of the tall pillars seen against the blue sky. The inclusion of a large group of visitors make the view nicely lively. This is a fine photo of one of the greatest cultural treasures of Iran.

From the thumbnail, I thought this might be Persepolis, an ancient site that has always intrigued me. I knew about the great rulers of antiquity who had had their reins in Persepolis, and I knew about the Shah Reza Pehlavi's commemoration in 1971 of the 2500th Anniversary of Cyrus the Great. But I had no idea that it was only 50 km from Shiraz. Wonderful photo,

Highly impressive archaeological shot with the huge columns nicely placed and nicely framed this way so much to admire and its history to illustrate this piece. Like your shooting angle great dof, bags of subtle light & colours to enjoy. A striking subject with some other interests around to complement smoothly. A shot beyond reproach, Congrats.
