There are many who consider this modest work as the greate masterpiece of Persian Literature. His tomb in Shiraz is visited by so many admirers that it may be regarded as a shrine. The celebrated Hafez was born in Shiraz in 1326 A.D. in Shiraz. He is said to have known all the Koran by heart, hence earning the nick-name of Hafez (Memorizer). With Ferdowsi he ranks as the most popular and best known poet in Iran. His collection (divan) consists of 693 poems, of which 573 are odes.( شيراز - حافظيه )

A magical shot, as this structure rises into light from the darkness, it summons in my mind ideas of legends of old. Nicely seen and captured.
All the best

Hi Mehrdad, This is an amazing shot in the dark. The dark BG and FG deliver such mysterious feelings of this Tomb or shrine. You have done a pretty good job on catching the lights and the angles. There are some people's heads in the dark and the gate in the back is covered with dark shadow, those only things I found it distracting otherwise it is a perfect night scenery with this special architecture. Thank for sharing

Awesome how you have captured the Hafezyeh! It is arguably the best proof of Iranian's eye for beauty.
