Photographer’s Note
Iranian colors are red, blue, green from the wanderful islamic architecture, and black. Black everywhere from the women's dresses. Every place is dotted with black. Black which is getting more and more colorful within young girls, in these last years, as they are more and more often dressing in a less traditional way, sometimes at the limit of the law, or at least in a way which was impossible in the years after the revolution.

excellent photojournalism shot (this is the way i personnally take it). I like the contrast between black and other colors
Woman well placed at the bottom left
maybe not quite enough color saturation in the mosaics and too bad for the head at the bottom right
Best regards Stefano

Hi Stefano,
I'm enjoying your Iran series, so many interesting shots. I like this for the wide angle look, the way the colours of the mural seem to grow all the way through the frame using the distortion of the lens is excellent. Are the people depicted in the mural men or women, it would be interesting to know.
Your woman in black features again, a very good idea to have this continuity running throughout the series, very creative.
I like this image a lot, well done.
Regards
Peter
So sorry, I've run out of green smilies today, this shot certainly deserves two points

Hello Stefano,
Very good note and good photo as well with the parallel between the woman in black and the colorful suit of the ceramic on the wall.
The only drawback is the perspective effect on the woman, increased by the placement on the corner even if it was the right place for the composition.
Yves.

ummm ummm a 10-20 maybe..the distortion ?..not too sure how you could manage that..but it has an appeal too..did you catch here offguard or is it a reflex capture..
either way the results are commendable brother !

Hello Stefano,
Set against a background in resplendent colors, the black chador of the young woman makes a powerful bit of photojournalism. I don't have to spell out the message, just as most good artwork has to be open ended, for the viewer to put his own interpretation on it. It's a dramatic image, shot from below with a extremely wide-angle lens.
Warm regards,
Bulent
