| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Copper is available in Iran and coppersmiths are working alongside of Iranian traditional bazaars. Iran has the world's second largest copper mines after Chile. The copper mines in Iran are open pits and are mostly available in southeast Iran. From the early copper and bronze age, Iran has records of making and using copper appliances. In archeological excavations all around Iran, such copper stuffs were already found belonging to many different periods of history. Still in Iran copper is a source of business. In Esfahan, Kerman and other such cities you find a lot of coppersmith who are making and selling copper appliances. |
