[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the high entrance portal of the main mosque in Esfahan, Iran. The mosque belongs to almost 400 years ago and fully decorated with colorful tiles. The blue color is so vivid in these tiles that this mosque is sometimes called blue mosque. At the entrance there is a one piece stony water container. What is its usage? I do not know. Some people believe that it was used to contain water for the purpose of ablution. Others believe that perfume or flower extracts were in it to refresh the air.
