I was for a few hours in Isfahan city a few weeks ago,the capital of Isfahan province in center of Iran ,and I had not a wide lens in the time, therefore I captured 6 vertical shots handhelded and then stiched those, this is the result.

About the Khaju Bridge, let me use some notes from wikipedia :

Khaju Bridge (Persian: پل خواجو pol-e khajoo) is one of the most famous bridges in Isfahan and has roused the admiration of travelers since the 17th century. Shah Abbas II built it on the foundations of an older bridge around 1650. It has 23 arch and is 105 metres long and 14 metres wide, and links the Khaju quarter on the north bank with the Zoroastrian quarter across the "Zayandeh rud" river. It also functions as a weir; the downstream side is formed as a series of steps carrying the water to a much lower level.

The pass way of the bridge is 7.5 meters wide, made of bricks and stones with 21 larger and 26 smaller inlet and outlet channels. The pieces of stone used in this bridge are over 2 meters long and the distance between every channel and the ceiling base is 20 meters. The existing inscriptions suggest that the bridge was repaired in 1873.

Khaju is one of the bridges that regulate the water flow in the river because there are sluice gates under the archways over the river. When the sluice gates are closed, the water level behind the bridge is raised to facilitate the irrigation of the many gardens along the river upstream of this bridge.

On the upper level of the bridge the main central aisle was utilized by horses and carts and the vaulted paths on either side by pedestrians. Octagonal pavilions in the center of the bridge on both the down and the upstream sides provide vantage points for the remarkable views. The lower level of the bridge may be accessed by pedestrians and remains a popular shady place for relaxing.

I hope in future can be able to travel there for some better shots with details about Isfahan and all its great history.
Welcome.

Hi Mohammad
What a nice bridge! The large view is really a beauty. Why do you cut the top of the central tower ? Perhaps there are some buildings behind ?
Congratulations my friend for the note. I hope to visit your country.
JP

Hi Mohammad
Firstly congratulations on becoming a Dad.
I really like that golden like coming through the arches and the way it reflects onto the water. It's great that one can make out the people as they add atmosphere.

Nikki

Hi Mohammad,

Glad to see you again and, in addition, with this absolutely beautiful shot. I like the rythm given by the lighst and its reflections, very well rendered. The feeling of vastness and depth is really incredible. The shadowy people is amazing for the life gived to the shot, and for the scale. Very impressive and beautiful image! Thanks.

Angel.

This is a great shot
Very interesting stitch by night, I appreciate well the good management of the exposure
I can see interesting details in the large post.
Well done.
Cheers.

I did not give you a proper welcome back and a proper and BIG CONGRATULATIONS! for your recent admission at the father´s club. I already wish a world full of peace and understanding for your little precious one, Mohammad.

Miguel

Hi Mohammad!

You 've been "away" from Trekearth for some time, but I am very glad to see that you' re back. And what a comeback with this excellent nightshot ( I am a nightshot lover). Great choice of the panoramic format, marvellous composition. Of course, perfect light managment, and great reflections. Congratulations!

Best regards,
Hercules

Nicely done, Mohammad. It is indeed a beautifully designed bridge. It appears to have a lot of small hidden spots, probably popular with young people doing--well, doing what young people do in small hidden spots. Nice framing, too--a panoramic view works well. Welcome back to TE, haven't seen your shots for quite a while! Regards, Ken.

I like the repetition of all these arches.....and this golden light is perfect
And the large format shows so well all details!!!
Hugs and one kiss for your sweet son

hi Mohammad,

Beautiful architecture and texture .. I love the mystical glowing gold .. wonderful tone ..
The angle the building fits into your frame is really interesting and creates a nice depth.

take care,

John

Hi Mohammad my friend,
Wonderful composition, wonderful perspective and superb use of light. The details, the colros and reflections are absolutely wonbderful.
I wish you a great weekend. Best personal regards.
Salvator.

It gives a great dynamism at the bridge against golden water. I like the composition
Best wishes,
Achim

Salam Mohammad,

An excellent shot, very well detailed with lovely golden reflection in the water. Having those people at the foot of the bridge gives everybody an idea of its shear size...TFS

Hi Mohammad,
A lovely night picture full of gold glowing in the darkness, the 1001 nights feeling that can be gathered from this picture is excellent !
How's Mohammad Jr doing ? Guess you're much into portrait now ;-)
Have a great day JY

Hello Mohammed,
This incredible view must have been photographed very often probably, but I doubt that many have gone with the idea of making a panorama stitch. I have bought a stitch program and a Manfrotto gear which lets me take well aligned pictures, and when I look at this one I wonder if I spent money for nothing.
I am glad you are back .. Izzet

Hi Mohammad,
I like this one! The light is amazing and the golden reflection are lovely...
Well done!
Cristian

Salam Mohammad-e aziz,
What a beautiful shot ! first, with all those arches, I thought that it was "si o se pol", but I just checked on the net : that one has 33 arches (of course, si o se) and this one (although seeming so long) has "only" 23 of them... All the tiny silhouettes are great to watch and the rhythm created by the arches, their reflects in the river and the illuminations are just perfect - I'm impressed by your technique and your talent !
Tabrik migam !
Happy to see new photos of little Rayan and to see him changing that way, Masallah !
Best regards,
Cath.
