This is first for a serie about Abyaneh village where located in Esfahan province,south-east of Tehran, almost 300 Km far from Tehran,170 Km from Qom and 80 Km from Kaashaan,on the north-western slope of Karkas Mount(3899m).
Abyaneh is an old village with a history more than 2000 years.
The bright, flowered scarves and heavily pleated, embroidered black skirts are traditional dress for the women from Abyaneh, where has been registered as a historical village by the UNESCO.
They speak a language, rooted in ancient Aramaic that is specific to their village,it's an ancient Parthian Pahlavi language.
Houses are of red clay and being built on the mountain slope, each house’s roof serves as the courtyard of the house above.
I will post more about the village, its people, culture and architecture.
Hope You like it.

Oh - Congratulation with your post #200 - You capture this woman nicely and discrete - I like the fine mix of light and shadows on the tree and walls - would this mean that your having problems to speak with those people with your native language - thanks Mohammad for this fine shot - looking forward to hear and see more.

Glad to view Abyaneh through your lens. I have been to Esfahan once when i was a small kid. Would love to visit the place again.
That is an interesting play with moderate shadows. Is the fact that we cant see her face a coincidence or did you not want to capture her film as per the legalities there?? I loved your country as a place, only if it were as open in public as it was in private. Cheers.

Welcome back, Mohammad. A nice relaxing scene with the woman seeming to have a rest in the sun. Very interesting details to be discovered here, in her ornate clothing as well as in the decorative elements of the surrounding architecture. Well done.

Hi Mohammad, very nice composition and serene showing the woman sitting and leaning against the tree seeking its shadow and at the same time enjoying the sun light. The light is excellent highlighting hers colourfull garments. I like this perspective showing the woman from behind not allowing the viewer to see her face. Very well done!

The red background made a strong tune of the environment culture. Even if you have made quite a good explanation, the picture leaves many questions about the environment and the figure.
A very nice composition.
