Nomadic people are the people who move from one place to another, rather than settling permanently in one location. Migration is a way of life for nomads in which herding cattle is the basis of economic life. Changing of location and migrating of human groups are two outstanding characteristics of nomadic life.
In such annual or seasonal migration, nomads move from their winter resort locations to summer grazing lands with their animals and move back to their winter resort locations again when it gets cold.
The shot shows a family in their spring migration. The river in the BG is Zayandeh Rood.

A scen of life of these nomadic people very well collected. Excellent framing and great and large prospect open to the mountain's landscape. Very interesting note too.

Hi Atousa, a fascinating TE Image- What a very different way of life and possibly fuller than those of us who rush around life as if it may end tomorrow. TFS and have a good evening Rich

Wonderful photography that captures the image of nomadic life, the beautiful soft color of the landscape contrasts with the more colorful and strong image of the characters and animals, great picture that conveys the hard life of these people.

Le nomade ne se met pas en marche s'il n'a pas une Terre promise à laquelle rêver.
Choix ou dogme ancestral ?
Quoi qu'il en soit, une très bonne prise de vue parfaitement mise en image.

Nicely composed with the family on the move. Also we see the road in the BG to see where they have come from. This nomadic life is one that is foreign to most of us but it is interesting to still see it. TFS.

Beautiful and a great daily life shot of the normades. It is a difficult way of life, but I guess they are use to it and it's their way of life and tradition. Good composition, good quality without overly processed. One of my favorites from you. Thanks

I am fascinated with all of the details in this composition, the donkeys carrying the household goods, the man and woman walking, the son riding the only horse, the purposeful stride of the dog, the river valley and the mountain behind. The light management and sharpness is good throughout.

axiotea (21651) 2010-07-30 1:15
I guess their style of life is not always easy but at least they are free, or it seems to be...I also enjoy to see the BG with the river and mountains.
Have a nice day

This scene reminds me of a movie. It is an excellent exotic photo, but in reality it is humbling to see the modest belongings of this family being transported by the donkeys. Their lifestyle is not easy. The soft color and light add to the drama and atmosphere. It is extremely well done.
