Seas of Fertility -Paphos

Aphrodite was born of the sea foam near Paphos, Cyprus after Cronus cut off Uranus' genitals and threw them behind him into the sea and then went back to feast on them. Hesiod's Theogony described that the genitals "were carried over the sea a long time, and white foam arose from the immortal flesh; with it a girl grew" to become Aphrodite.

C'est joli , on dirait des rochers posés sur une mer de nuages.

Hi Stephen,
Tu nous plonge dans un film lugubre mais c’est très bien réalisé.. !
Bon cadrage avec ce gros rocher décalé.... !
Very nice composition.. !
Best regards,
Patrick

Hi Stephen,
Splendida foto!

Complimenti!

Stephen-

A great photo that shows a wonderful mood. The light is captured perfectly. Cropped nicely as well.

I love shots of the sea shore with the foamy water in timed exposures.

Thanks!

Stephen, another stunning shot from Cyprus. I can see that you really had great time there, even though your camera has broken down. Where exactly did you take this photo ?

Cheers, Lucie

This is so good. The ultra soft water and sky contrast so nicely with the rough looking rocks. The exposure control is really good as well and I like how we can see the details in the shadowy parts of the rocks. This is fine art photography.
