Aphrodite's Charms

Another composition of Geronisos Island just off the Akamas Peninsula, this time the sun is below the horizen with the last rays of the sun dancing about the sky. I used my lee ND filter 0.9 to emphasize and increase contrast in the sky.

HI Stephen,
You really make good use of your super wide angle lens.
Well captured with a rocky foreground and the amizing light on and behind the water parts.
If you had put it perfectly horizontal it even has been better.
Regards,
Eddie

Hi Stephen
This is a very beautiful and magical scene. The rocks in the foreground are so sharp and dynamic plus they contrast with the rushing water and I like how the suns rays emerge from behind the island.
Regards
Nikki

Hi Stephen,
This is not Ireland, but we can recognize your style ! A good depth of field, a great sharpness and one more time a wonderful light.
Regards,
Olivier

Hi Stephen,

Playing with your ND Grads again and with great results!!
The light is very nicely managed and the colours are still very nicely natural. Wonderful sharpness as well. Good one!!

Greetings,
Dennis

hi Stephen,
I have to say honestly it's getting increasingly difficult to write a meaningful comment on your photos, I seem to have only words like "superb", "amazing" and "magic" left in my head when I look at something like this :) seriously, this IS pure magic - the contrasts between warm and cool colours, between rugged rocks and silk-like water, love it. fantastic! :)

have a great weekend,
Kristine

Amazing light. You are really an expert for this kind of pictures.
I love the blurred waves which contribute to the magic atmosphere.
Regards Stefano

G'day Stephen!
I agree entirely with Kristine's ("avene") comments - but PLEASE don't stop posting your gorgeous images. The full EXIF info would be interesting, too, and/or some notes on your post-processing techniques.
Best wishes,
Jeff

wow....I recognize your style. The result is breathtaking. I like the blue colour of the sea and the sunrays behind this rock. Great sharpness. What's the time of exposure?

Hey Stephen,
Another magical shot of the amazing coastline of Cyprus. I love the silky texture of the sea and the warm colors. A truly superb shot that really couldn't be any better. Congratulations!!! TFS
