Hi Ryno,
I'm wondering why you went for black and white in this one! The jetty itself is very nice with the natural materials well visible, but the water and the sky are not that appealing here. I'm wondering how the colour version has looked! Surely when seeing the over-exposed parts of the wood to the left, it must have been an nicely sunny day!
Thanks for sharing!
Greetings, Dennis

Hi Ryno.
Vertical lines trailing the parallel and horizontal lines to horizont line of sea..,very graphic effect well composed, and indeed a good tittle.I like this B&W version,I think it has a good contrast, but I would like to see the colour version if you have it..
Best regards,
Sonsoles.
Hi Ryno,
I agree with you in using B&W for this image,
it gives more emphasis to the lines, that are the subject of your picture. Colors would be a disturbing element.
Regards.
Francesco.
I think this shot works very well in B&W, especially with the high contrast treatment that you gave it - brings out the textures of the wood very nicely.
I like the centred composition, and the overall simplicity of the image, although I think a crop to remove the strip of sky at the top of the frame would improve it further.
Cheers,
Ben

Ciao Ryno,
great perspective and simmetry. Very well contrasted image. Excellent B&W conversion
Anna
hello ryno
A very nice perspective. b&w is a good idea here and it works really well. The curved horizon is great too.
Best regards
