This is a superbly back lit photo, even one of the most beautiful pictures from inside a mosque I have ever seen here on TE. The blurred person creates a huge sense of mysticism and the B&W only adds to that mysticism. Congratulations.

Nice work. Really well executed shot. Did you grab this shot as the man moved into view or did you plan it and wait for him. Wonderful. The floor, shadow and blurred motion are all wonderful elements of this shot.

Interesting capture. The lighting here is quite nice. I really like the bluriness of the main subject from the motion. The repetitive patterns on the floor definately add an interseting feel.

The motion effect is fantastic. It creats a very special atmposphere, like a ghost moving in the room.
But I am curious about the colored version. Are you sure that B&W is better ? It looks to me the pattern of the floor is very beautiful and hypnotic.

Olá Korkut, I cannot recognize Deniz, unless he's disguised :) Another great shot of yours. It has a single floating soul and his shadow, a good light giving a misterious mood and a fantastic pattern as a background. You are good in finding good vantage POVs...

Notun bu urkutucu fotografa yakismis. Ben bir turlu camii, namaz klian, dua eden insanlar fotografi sevemedim ama bunun neresi oldugu belli diil allahtan. Halidan nefret etmistim eski fotograflarinda, o yuzden siyah/beyaz olmasi hosuma gitti simdi. Halinin bazi kisimlari neden bulanik cikmis? Sanki onlar da adamla birlikte yuruyorlar.
Not: Hemen vazgecme canondan, biraz jpeg cekip makineye alis. Hemen raw kullanmaya baslama bence, zahmetli is. Ama makineyi ogrendikten sonra kolay. Ben gelirken size cs3 getireyim, onu kullanin.

İlahi ışığı ardına alan yüzsüzler doldurdu ortalığı. Doldurmuştu zaten, artık iyice azdılar. Sözler cuk oturmuş. Fotoğraf da.
Siyah beyaz kırmızısından daha güzel olmuş, benden söylemesi. Bi de fazla neat. Bunu da ninem söyledi...

Korkut,
a very typical shot for your gallery. A single person as the center of attention placed into the geometry of life, in this case the patterns on the floor of a mosque. All this bathed in interesting light conditions. Great presentation as always. I guess you get your inspirations during the sleepless nights secondary to your robust son.

Hi Korkut, strange note, i'm not very rich in vocabulary but i understood the spirit, dark and cold ...
I prefer a lot more the picture, permits my brain to travel while looking it, exotic picture for me. The carper offered you a perfect compo and the slow shutter speed on this man brings mystery and suggestion.

there would not even be a need for a text here, so well achieved the image is in my eyes...wonderful ecorations making for great graphism, nice to put them in light diagonal, the man walking, the mystery stays, a glimpse, a ? 1/4 second of a man's life. Superb light and mood.

Very good the game between focus carpet and unfocused man's silhouette that gives except the movement's feeling of him, the sense of something ghostly, something which...heaven sent.
