This is from the garden in the Ayia Napa monestary ruins. A lovely and calm place to spend the last hours of daylight. In the middle of the photo is the well.

Ayia Napa is infamous for its status as a party town, but the Ayia Napa I saw was calm and pleasant. A lovely place to spend a weeks vacation.

Halgeir hello that with the air pleasant to go there in vacancy, looks at of it your beautiful photograph I find that even the evening, with the sight of the photograph it there with a light still very strong which burns a little the buildings what gives one made dull to the image whereas to see the vegetation and the unit of it that must be paradisiac and it must make good live there it there of with which one of the chance good continuation friendship

Hi my friend Halgeir!

It is a nice comp with great lighting that gives us exactly the mood and the time of the day..You did well..I only think that if you could shoot it from a little more far it could be better..But that is not so a problem..:-) It is scanned isn't it?This makes it even more difficult..Great job..

Friendly,
Nikos..

Hi Halgeir,
I like the atmosphere of that garden. The spot of sun light on the palm tree is like a smile in a pretty face.
Too bad you didn't care for cleaning-up the scan. I tried to improve the image in a workshop. Hope You like it.

Hello Halgier,
This is a good shot showing details of the Ayia Napa. Nice greenary and surrounding. Good POV. Good quality even though it scanned.
Carry on good work.
Thanks for sharing.

Hello Halgeir,
I today browsed to your gallery I found this picture one of the most beautiful in your gallery, very nice of colours and composition, I like the tropical environment with palmtrees and indeed the calm feeling.
Thanks a lot,
John

Hei Halgeir,
Nice composition with a pleasant blend of elements, all well balanced!
If I were you I'd probably try to add some more punch to a scan like this, by increasing both saturation and contrast...
Greetings,
Pablo -

If it was added some trees in the background it could almost be a lost city in the wilderness:) the white stripes - is that scanning?

Hallaisen Hal.

Garden looks good, but I feel it lacks some colour.
Colours almost look a little washed out, too much sunlight I guess.

Perspective is a bit low, it's hard to get the fullidea of how big and what the other parts of the gradens looked like.
In addition it looks like there has been some dust on the negative.
Not your best shot but it works.

Odd Jarle
