Photographer’s Note
This tree is located at the entrance to the Catacombs of Ayia Solomoni. First the combs where used as a refuge during the Hellenistic period but after it was converted to a church.
But what attracted mostly my eyes were the pieces of clothing tied to the tree. It's a legend that says that if you fasten a piece of one of your clothes to the branch then you'll be cured of chronic ilness.
It's a pity that I didn't try because today I've a good cold :-(

Bonjour Edouard,
La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs des vetements qui sont accrochés à l'arbres. le sujet est bien cadré. La ligne diagonale du mur de pierres est un atout à la composition. La qualité de la lumière fait ressortir les couleurs. Bon weekend.

Hallo Edouard!
A most interesting photo indeed - and place as well. Yes, faith can move mountains ... but concerning your cold - it's only for "chronic" illnesses!!! ;-))
A contribution in terms of TrekEarth!
Greetings from wet, cool and grey Westphalia!

common scene but not an outstanding work. I think a far better POV should have been developed.
