Photographer’s Note
History of Curium
Located on the Akrotiri Peninsula in the south of Cyprus, just to the west of Limassol on the road to Paphos, is the ancient town of Kourion which has a Roman amphitheatre that was built at the end of the 2nd c. AD during the hellenistic period, and has a capacity of 3,500 spectators. In 1961, it was restored by the antiquities department and is now used for performances of plays, concerts and other cultural events.
The surrounding area is of scarce beauty!

Hello,
I've had a quick look into your gallery. Some nice pictures!
Surprinsingly no comment for this picture, despite of the lovely sky and the good silhouettes of the trees.
In fact, the foreground green grass are not nice and too much, I would delete them, I think the picture would be much better.
regards
didier
