Photographer’s Note
Rhis is the last in my series of Storm Reflections. The lightening in this photo is the more common sheet lightening, hidden within the storm itself, producing what I beleive to be perhaps the best of the series, lighting up the clouds and illuminating the forgrounds clouds and creating the reflections on the rain covered salt flats.
Camera was again mounted on the tripod in the back of the 4x4, manual settings on the camera and the lens, wide open @ f4, infinity focus. Remote release was used for the exposure.

I really like the colour and detail in this picture, even though the lightning itself could be missed. The detail is really really good and your info on the shot really useful.
The reflectionon the mud flats really helps.
Very well done.

Going by the thumbnails I thought that number 2 was my fave but after viewing them I actually think this one is becuase of the great reflections and illumination in the sky. Very moody.
