Photographer’s Note
The Al-Fatih Mosque has an impressive building. You could visit the mosque in morning. Inside you could see a huge chandelier - I think it has a diameter of more then 30m (please have a look to the workshop). In the nigth the moque is beautiful illuminated.
from wikipedia:
The Al-Fatih Mosque is one of the largest mosques in the world, capable of accommodating over 7,000 worshippers at a time. The mosque is the largest place of worship in Bahrain. It is located next to the King Faisal Highway in Juffair, which is a town located in the capital city of Manama. The mosque very close to the Royal Bahraini Palace, the residence of the king of Bahrain Hamad ibn Isa Al Khalifah. The huge dome built on top of the Al-Fatih Mosque is made of pure fiberglass. Weighting over 60 t (60,000 kg), the dome is currently the worlds largest fibreglass dome. Al-Fateh now includes the new National Library which opened to the public in 2006. The mosque was built by the late Sheikh Isa ibn Salman Al Khalifa in 1987. It is named after Ahmed Al Fateh, the conqueror of Bahrain.

Hello Achim,
The monument is indeed impressive. On the ws, the cupola seems an architectural performance. The giant gloss is incredible. The colors which you captured appear satisfactory me, as well outside as inside. A framing skilfully selected, and a good realization make the image interesting and pleasant to look at. Cheer.
Have a nice day

Hey Achim,
Bahrain certainly is full of architectural contrasts. A lovely photo, just a bit dark. Otherwise extremely clear and crisp, with good sharpness. And obviously shot from a good vantage point.
Best regards.

Hi Achim,
The point of view is allowing us to see the details and colors of the architecture of the Al-Fatih Mosque and it is taking our eyes to the opposite shore in the background which is giving depth to the photo. the subject is well frame. The light has a special effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Achim,
interesting shot with the details of this modern mosque and the architectural detail of the huge chandelier in the WS. Actually I think that the WS should have been the main post. The graphical aspect with the tiny person at the end of the room is fantastic.

ciao Achim,
ottimo il POV con cui hai ripreso la moschea e bella l'immagine che esce della città dal tuo scatto.
Colori tenui, forse un po' di contrasto in piu' avrebbe reso la foto più viva, comunque un ottimo lavoro.

Hallo Achim,
this mosque is really impressive, for its purity and elegance of lines, and also for its dimensions. It is enormous!! And the chandelier in the WS is spectacular, too.
I like how you have caught all that in your framing, from a good POV and with a nice game of the light and the shades. Good depth of image, in an excellent composition.
Best regards,
Josep

Quite impressive, including the WS. I couldn't even recognize and locate Bahrain in the map...Doesn't seem a cosy urban space - everything is out of human scale.

Hallo Achim,
