Photographer's Note

The ISA Cultural Center is rigth of the Al-Fatih Mosque (the shadow in the front). It was opened in Sept 2008. I had waited more then half a hour for some people and took meanwhile some other pictures, but this morning nobody, no tourists are visting the mosque.

ISA CULTURAL CENTER, DIRECTLY AFFILIATED TO THE ROYAL COURT, WILL PROVIDE READERS AND RESEARCHERS WITH BOOKS AND PRINTED MATERIAL COVERING ALL KNOWLEDGE FIELDS AND WILL PROTECT THEM FOR FUTURE USE BY NEW GENERATIONS. IT WILL ALSO ORGANIZE CULTURAL AND SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES, PROGRAMS, EXHIBITIONS, CONFERENCES, AND SEMINARS CARE FOR ARAB AND ISLAMIC HERITAGE PROMOTE THE KINGDOM'S CULTURE AND HISTORY AND ENCOURAGE INTELLECTUAL AND CULTURAL CREATIVITY AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL. THE CENTER COMPRISES A NATIONAL LIBRARY WHICH WILL SPREAD CULTURAL AWARENESS AND CATER FOR EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS, COLLEGES, INSTITUTES AND UNIVERSITIES THROUGH A WIDE RANGE OF BOOKS AND A NATIONAL DATA NETWORK CONNECTED TO INTERNATIONAL LIBRARIES WEBSITES.
