Hard to understand that this black stuff is causing so much problems and controlling so many lives...
This one is from my last trip to Bahrain, I figured that i had to see a real oil well now that I am living and working in the Gulf, so I drove a little outside Manama to find this one, then just sat and waited for the sun to go down.

simple and efficient composition, quite original for a sunset shot, less is more, the tones are amazing

So that's where you are now. Neat! I like the composition here but I'm not sure about your focusing decision. Personally I would prefer to see the well sharp. Regards,

Very nicely composed with the sun between the machine. Great graduated color, too. My 1st reaction was also that the focus is a bit off, but just a little. Still a great shot,
