Photographer’s Note
My fifth contribution to Fall scav hunt: ancient times vs modern times.
This picture was taken at the Sforzesco Castle during a temporary show of historic posters from the Raccolta Bertarelli, from the late 19 th century to the mid 20 th century. Works by important poster artists, including Marcello Dudovich, Adolfo Hohenstein, Leopoldo Metlicovitz, Albe Steiner and others. Six sections, including seaside, mountains, spas, travel and Milan. The Sale Panoramiche have just been restored and reopened. They are at the top of a long series of staircases.

... which proves you're still in good shape ;-)
great picture !
the child's shirt match the other colours in the picture, giving a relaxed feeling (sometimes contrasts are good, sometimes matching colours sooth better, don't they ?)
Now just try to explain to a kid in 2004, that people needed these bulky things to make a simple photograph...

That's a verry good one for the old vs new category, Gae. a very nice point of view. When I think about it, the job of photographers became much comgfortable, but I ammm not sur thatt the development could improve the results. Good shot.
So, are you going to complete the hunt so soon?
