Photographer’s Note
How many peaceful moments like this did you live? Yes, many but in the life there are also bad moments. Two days ago the new coach of Rome soccer team resigned from an important and very well payed office to reach his wife, who lives in a city of North Italy, seriously ill. He is 47, she 42: they got married very young . “My place is close to her” – he said. I dedicate this photo to those one that, having to make a choice, are guided by love and friendship’s feeling.
This is the beach of Mortelle close Messina. In background Calabrian mountains.
My third contribute to autumn scav hunt: tranquillity in a fast paced world.

Beautiful, Gae. A very evocative shot. I love the composition and the way the light shines on the water. And I very much like your dedication...

Bellissima immagine, Gae! La luce argentea e la coppia davanti alla siluetta nera della città creano un'atmosfera magica. Mi piace anche la nota.

L'image est bien reposante avec les couleurs douces quelle comporte.

Beautiful shot, Gae, with a wonderful dedication in your touching note. A classical seaside composition with the zig-zagging lines between sand, water and incoming tide. The light reflections on the water lend a fine atmosphere, and the couple is perfectly placed in the frame. Well done.

Very nice composition and interesting waves patterns and reflections. Good capture of the couple holding hands. The eye follows their walking path from the left side to the current location and back to the details of the waves (which is a good momentum for the picture).
I like it very much. Well done

You are very thoughtful Gae. It is true, it is difficult to be good friend and lover, at the same time. Unless both is just so compatible and understanding. Only then, they could really share the life together and be happy with each other. But the best time of all, is when they are alone together, in places like this, that you have taken.
