Photographer’s Note
On an overcast and cloudy day, we strolled along the waterfront at Youghall harbour to streetch our legs after several hours on board the bus. This one small boat was tied up facing the harbour entrance, and looked so alone with the wide expanse of sea all around.

I like the composition a lot Joan. Perspective is perfectly managed and the POV is excellent.

What a nice composition. The lonely boat is very well spoted, it's well positioned in the frame. I also like the high horizon and the large water surface. A very fine catch joan, congratulations.

I like this composition a lot with the grey sea and the boat. The bridge and far of houses make a fine framing together with the rockslope to the left. There is one odd thing, even though the boat is the main object the lines of the framing leads the eyes out on to the open horison.
Maybe you boosted contrast just a sniff too much?
