This man was standing outside the Catholic Basiclica of Sacre Coeur up on the hill of Montmartre. The hill is 130m high and has a wonderful view. Montmartre means 'mountain of the martyr' it owes its name to the martyrdom of St Denis (the Bishop of Paris) who was decapitated on the hill around 250AD. At the end of the 19th century Montmartre was the centre of artistic life in Paris. Many artists including Picasso, Renoir, Van Gogh, Monet and Dali worked and lived here.

We still saw many artists painting in the street when we visited there.

It lok like a cold day. Nice portrait and good light to compose it. The colours and the sharpness seem fine. His pose is very good and seem very natural, unaware of the camera at the moment. Nice work Wanda.

Now I see photo from Europe. It is not exotic for me. Interesting person. Good portrait. Nice composition with good colours. Well done.

Nice to see how his eyes are not looking to you, makes it less posed and that works very well in this case. His accordeon is the eye chatching detail in this photo, that red is really shining. Light was hard here...flashlight? His face is a bit to bright imho.
But it's film, maybe that explains, not that easy to scan and work on.
Nevertheless a nice looking photo...
