The Peneda-Gerês National Park (Portuguese: Parque Nacional da Peneda-Gerês), also known simply as Gerês, is the only National Park in Portugal (although many Natural Parks, Protected Landscapes and Reserves across the entire country). It is located in Norte region, in the northwest of Portugal.
The park was created May 8, 1971 due to its national and international scientific interest, with the aim to protect the soil, water, flora, fauna, and landscape, while preserving its value to the existent human and natural resources. Education and tourism are also goals of the park.
I hope you enjoy!

Não precisa de pedir desculpas. A fotografia é simplesmente maravilhosa.

Hi Joel
I really like this shot and several of your shots from your gallery. Nice colors here and fine use of the polarizer to reduce glare. I'm not 100% sure I like the tree cutting through the middle of the picture, but regardless you've captured a good scene here and made perfect use of the available light. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Joel,
It's a picture-perfect scene. The greens are vibrant, and there is such a nice depth in the image! My pet peeve is with the long exposure. Too many of these lately, and this would have been such a nice photo without it.

Jorge Amorim
