Photographer’s Note

La Cance est une rivière qui a fait la richesse d'Annonay pour la mégisserie, la tannerie, et la fabrication du papier (usines Canson) son eau convenant parfaitement à ces industries. Depuis de nombreuses années ces industries ont périclité pour la plupart. Seule la papeterie s'est un peu maintenue c'est ce qui explique la couleur de la rivière.
La photo a été recadrée et les couleurs un peu ravivées.

Hello Jacques, yet again you have captured some wonderful colours here. The gentle curve to the river softens the lines of the image.

The curvature of the river and the combined colours make the picture work. The yellow is quite striking and pleasing at the same time.

very stunning color with the water striking through theupper half od the scene. I especially love the color mixture in the trees in this photo. Wery interesting perspective. Good work!

Great to see such a river from a different POV than normally. The result is wonderful, I especially like the many colours in the bottom part of the picture. Good work and thanks for sharing!
