Photographer’s Note

A strange as it may be, I like to walk either looking up high, oblivious of the clouds but eager to spot caryatids flanking windows and doors, which no one seems to notice anymore, or closer to the ground, watching people's shoes.
While I was quite fascinated by what she was wearing and we started to discuss whether she had to put on Japanese socks too or not (she told me she managed well with "normal" socks, which I still find quite surprising but, well, I'm definitely not in her shoes...), he kept talking about his sneakers, which had been through a lot, or so he said. And why should I question that?
Besides, the train was coming to an halt at the station I get off to go back home.
So they went on with their journey, up to another station, somewhere further down the line. Hand in hand...

I want to see more! I want to see how they sit, as the bench seems so small ;-) Oh well, it's none of my business you decided to crop or compose thus way. Sometimes stupid little things can bother you, of which you wanted to know more, but they are totally irrelevant.
I can imagine that the boots caught your attention, they are very peculiar. Above the ankle, the texture is changing as well.
Very appropriate title!

Acftually,m i wanted to comment on your market square heroes, because I think they are indeed, every saturday and tuesday I'm so surprised how they get the place clean again! Realy heroes indeed

Bon en fait à première vue je n'avais pas remarqué ces bottes curieuses. Je regardais, comme l'indique ton titre anglais, ces mains qui s'attirent alors que les pieds se repoussent... Où sont les vrais sentiments là-dedans? Dans les mains, les pieds n'étant alors là que pour montrer une certaine pudeur, une certaine retenue à ne pas étaler ses sentiments en public? Ou alors dans les pieds, les mains n'étant là que pour le paraitre, pour se rassurer soi-même sur ces sentiments, pour montrer au monde qu'on a réussi la difficile tache de se trouver un partenaire?
Et puis il y a la main qui téléphone, en arrière-plan... Encore des sentiments éphémères, ou au contraire bien réels, dans les mots qui vont s'échanger?

Et puis je lis ta note, et puis je vois vraiment ces bottes, et là je suis très ennuyée parce que vraiment, je trouve qu'on dirait des pieds de chameau... Et maintenant que j'ai cette idée en tête, va t'en essayer de l'enlever...

ils sont parmi nous... un X FILE...
je reviens sur ta photo, la botte m'a dérangée quand j'ai découvert le pied bovin du personnage...
et la baskette au fumet de 17h... qu'ose pas s'approcher du futur Elephant Man.. (j'espère que c'est pas Ginette de P.)
drôle d'ambiance captée mais avec des couleurs très réalistes. J'aime bien aussi le cafteur derrière qui appelle le muséum d'histoire naturelle
Bravo pour le sujet, j'aurai pas osé.
