Photographer’s Note

In the beginning of the 18th century there was a dangerous outbreake hitting the region of Podlasie. The only who survived were those who climbed the mountain and thus escaped from the epidemy. In this way the orthodox population of this area started to believe the place has a special meaning. Also they claimed that the water in the nearby torrent has healing features. So it has been said until today.

Czesc Jerzy, to bedzie chyba moja ostatnia krytyka na dzisiaj i na weekend bo jade na poludniue polwyspu. Ladne zdjecie, bardzo podobaja mi sie te szczegoly jakie tu pokazales i fajnie wyszla symetria. Trzymaj sie.

This small chapell is a real jewel, Jerzy!

Super, judicious use of the wideangle here, Jerzy. Only "it" could convey this much crowded glory, this much green on the outside and this much blue art on the inside. Truly first rate notes by the way. Good stuff! Francis

I like specially the through look with the green vegetation, but the blue colour tones against the small effigy, give a great composition.

Hi Jerzy,
An interesting view of the "holy water-pump". I guess it was quite difficult to choose a proper POV in such limited space, but you did it well. The only drawback is less contrast in the top of the pump, where it overlaps with the fresco.

Hi jerzy, A well shown art-style water pump. This picture has well shown the nice decorated cover to this well. A well taken picture with great details, sharpness, and clarity. From the handle of the pump, I think I see the reflection of the photographer :D
