Photographer’s Note
This is a four-lane boulevard in Brussels, the heart of the heart of Europe - where the European Union Institutions are situated. And it is 11 am - not rush-hour, but the way the Rue de la Loi looks from dawn till dusk. I stood there observing the traffic for a while and got dizzy trying to calculate how many millions of hours modern man in the west must spend in cars moving at a walking pace.
I cropped, clarified, saturated, resized and sharpened, in that order.

I like it, Per - you managed to make Brussels look almost like Manhattan with this view of the congested 4-lane road in between the high buildings. Good use of perspective, and a fun inclusion of the signs in the foreground - it seems that if people were interested a bit more in culture, the road you are showing would be less occupied ;-)

did you try and crop all the sky, well it is very good just as well, and the lights of the cars are the color and texture of the picture I think.

Heureusement que je ne passa pas par là tous les jour en voiture! Je prends d'ailleurs le train car circuler à Bruxelles pendant les heures de pointe, c'est l'enfer! Très bonne photo de cet endroit presqu'éternellement encombré... Bien vu!

Bonsoir Per,
Overcrowded there, not a place between the cars.
Good description here, with a lot of depth and a perfect perpective between the buildings.
Think that these lost hours are lost and a high cost for the activity from these people, the worst is that some of them should not be there ::))) and that they could give a phone call or send a mail intead of trying to go to places they always reach late :))

High Per,
You gave the photo a nice length by standing in the middle of the lanes. The height in your photo gives it the endlessness of the men and car connection. It will take many moons for men to part from their car. Good photographic construction.
