Photographer's Note

After a week of snow and storms, the sun is back for Easter in Norway. And a winter wonderland is awaiting you just outside the house. The trees are covered with snow and ice-it looks just like icing on a cake, and makes the light play little branches.

The photo was taken in the outskirts of Trondheim where you just have to leave your house and get your skis on for a fabulous trip through the towns hillside "bymarka". There are many prepared ski tracks in winter, and in summer it is great for hiking.

Very nice winterscape. Very good composition only the bright sun light in the tree is a bit distrycting the overall harmony.

Greetings Katrin,

This truly looks like a wonderland. I like the stillness that winter landscapes tend to convey and a quiet invitation for an adventure on the ski tracks.
