Photographer’s Note
This is one of the many rooms with beautiful painted ceilings inside the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence Italy. The great thing about this palace is they let you take photos inside, provided you don't use flash. I had a wonderful time going through the many, many rooms in this palace. Simply amazing to see in person.

It's great Florence shot. I know it wasn't easy to make shots at Palazzo Vecchio... Did You see my Florence pictures? :)

I love the way the dark walls surrounding highlight the beauty of the ceiling as well as show that the walls are covered with artwork as well. Great shot!

We don't normally get to see too many interior photos like this because of the prohibition of tripods. But you've managed another very nice and steady shot here. The golden vault is impressive. Especially in contrast to the darker walls below. And you've composed it well, also giving a Renaissance feeling perspective to the building. Perhaps another possibility would be to crop this just above the two arched niches on the end wall so there is less dark area and giving it a more graphic look at the same time. Nicely done, though, showing us a side that isn't easy to capture.
