Photographer’s Note

The north Norfolk coast bewteen Blakeney point and Hunstanton is a maze of salt marshes and creeks used by fisherman and pleasure boaters. At lowtide, the boats are left surrounded by a sea of mud rather than water.

Here at Morston, just opposite Blakeny point (an elongated sandy spit nearly 3 miles long) the wooden jettys seemed to be only just managing to stay upright.
