Photographer’s Note

In the middle of the Paoli boulelvard, main artery of Corté, there is a lane going up to the old town.
It is called the "Scoliccia"
At the bottom of the "Scoliccia" is this fountain with "little cupidons".
If the cupidon of iron are beautiful, the pool is ugly. It replaces the old fountain that was destroyed by a car that was down the scoliccia. The current fountain is the heart of the old. It rested at the center of a pool of iron destroyed by the car.
Financially, it was more economical to have this pool tiled recast as the corollary of origin.

The building in the background has been repainted. Gradually, the buildings found their original colors.

Belle couleur de cette façade rénovée (enfin) ...la fontaine est superbe mais les faïences du bassin beurk .. le conducteur était pressé d' aller au Bip's ..
bel effet de contre plongé.

The bright and pulsating background colours make up for the black stone out of which the statues in the fountain seem to be made Marie. Overall the two compliment each other extremely well

difficile de photographier la fontaine sans le bassin; mais quand on connait l'histoire on accepte mieux sa présence (perso j'avais zappé la fontaine car difficile de faire un cadrage 100% plaisant - car j'aime pas trop les voitures du cours en prime...)
comme déjà dit je trouve ce rouge un peu agressif mais si c'était réellement si soutenu avant alors j'approuve bien évidement cette rénovation de la ville qui mérite en effet un "relooking" assez poussé...

ta photo montre bien l'omniprésence du soleil sur la ville...

A nicely composed photo. The red building and the fountain go well together (a pity they didn't rebuild the old pool). A good sky as well.

Tu as su trouver le bon POV pour capturer cette fontaine. Le cadrage est serré à la base et l'arrière-plan coloré à souhait pour mettre ton sujet en valeur.
