Autumn at River Findhorn, part III
---
This is the same river but the other side of the old bridge near a place called 'Randolph's Leap'. It was already quite late so I used long exposure, river was very calm and thankfuly there was no wind which otherwise would make the trees blurry.
I used tripod, RAW mode and CPL filter, single exposure + some contrast adjustments in PP.

A beautiful shot full of atmosphere - I'm glad there were no canoeists around to ruffle the water. It's a river I've long wanted to paddle down and it looks so gorgeous at this time of year.

I don't know how you fixed the POV but it worked perfect as same your amazing capture. Especially splendid effect of white tracks on water surface by long exposure are spectacular. Fantastic autumn colors and reflection of scene are makes your frame an attractive one. Congratulations.

What a beautiful part of the world this is. Remarkable exposure, everything is so crisp and sharp.
Lovely composition. The colours in the reflection are very pretty, especially the reflection of the rocky area.
Such a tranquil and calming scene, compliments on a fantastic job.

Tomasz,

The water is absolutely brilliant in this shot. Glass like and colourful, yet also with those fantastic trace-lines, almost like stratches on ice, carved across the surface.

The trees and leaves are somehow more problematic. Maybe they are moving a little over the exposure time but, I find myself, even with brief exposures, that a mass of colourful leaves often, somehow "diffuse the clarity" of a shot. I don't know the answer!

Nevertheless, overall, it's a nice one.

very poetic shot with great natural Autumn colors and a perfect freezing of the flowing water. I expecially like the golden reflection broken by the flow. Maybe I would prefer a little darker background, but I still find it a beautiful picture!
