Photographer’s Note

I was taking this lovely picture when i was approached by 2 police officer and the shot was over....

this picture shows the contrast between the lights of the building and the darkness of the river Thames, i used a Lee filter over the sky to keep sky detail.

A perfect use of tilt! You made the austerity and firmness of the Houses of Parliament rush into future at the speed of light.

P.S. So, what did the police officers did?.. Is taking pictures at night forbidden?

Star effect of light, other arrays of light, smooth appearance of river like velvet, sky and clouds and finally the dizzy tilt...

Olá Joel,
Excelente foto, as diagonais estão excelentes e dão-lhe um grande dinamismo, e a longa exposição funcionou muito bem. Estive em Londres à pouco tempo e é uma cidade maravilhosa, e olhando para as cores da tua foto tenho imensa pena não ter passado por aqui à noite, mas como espero voltar em breve vou incluir a visão nocturna do Big Ben no meu roteiro...
