Photographer’s Note

Hi,
After a bit longer break I'm back with some recently taken photographs.
I discovered this place by accident when I was driving and looking for interesting coastal locations. I found out later it is very popular, well known and often photographed place but personally I have never seen it before. It's about an hour drive from the place I live now and it's called 'Bow Fiddle Rock' close to small village called Portknockie on the Northern East coast of Scotland. It is big (over 15 metres high) quartzite rock with large arch created over the years by waves, which looks like the bow of a fiddle (hence the name).
When I found it in the late afternoon on Saturday I thought it will be interesting to photograph it at sunrise. So here it is. The very early Sunday morning (about 4:30am) I woke up, left my cosy bed, packed the stuff and drove to this place to take some photographs. I could end up having nothing as it was pretty cloudy but fortunately rising sun painted some nice tones on the morning sky. Amazing place and very special atmosphere which I will never forget - just me, those huge ancient rocks, seagulls, the ocean, waves and sunrise, definitely worth the early wake up. Highly recommended if you are in this area!
Photograph made from two horizontal shots stitched together, each with few exposures blended together.
RAW mode, tripod, CPL filter, curves in PP.
Thanks for any comments & best regards!
