Late Summer Landscape II Photo

Hello,
Not tired of hay bales yet? Me not!
Weather was pretty wild over here today with massive clouds, stormy showers, thunders and sun. Perfect conditions for landscape photography, unfortunately I had to spend most of this day at work (inside the building) so couldn't really enjoy it a lot. I rushed after work, quickly had my dinner and took my wife and daughter for a 'photo-hunt' ride. Probably they didn't enjoyed it as much as me cause I was constantly stopping, getting off the car and taking photographs. The low evening light was excellent and the clouds were still very interesting, when I saw the rainbow I just had to take the opportunity and take the shot. Rainbow isn't very big nor clear but I think it is nice addition to the scene. I will post few more shots from this evening soon.
Shot taken near Kinloss, Moray, North East Scotland, RAW format, hand hold, CPL filter, very little post processing, just slight adjustment of curves.

This is really nice - love the strong perspective and your use of the entire frame with interesting elements from the foreground grasses, to the round bales, to the treeline, to the rainbow, and the dark skies overhead. An exceptional shot. TFS. Gerald

The result of your effort is simply superb. Great capture of the beauty of the raw nature. Well managed light produced the warm golden evening in a pleasant way. And you got the additional gift from nature in the form of that lovely rainbow.

Oh Tomasz,
a good landascape, with colours so beautiful and the POV magic.
I like this composition, and love the atmosphere.
maybe if there is a thing that is less good is the web-site in head...

Hi Tomasz,
Scotland?!? The colors of your shot talk about Africa!
As for the hay bales, you're right: they are a superb subject, round and yellow, usually in great landscapes...
I like also the framing with the grass in the foreground, giving a sense of reality to the POV, otherwise you could have "constructed" the whole scene: it' almost perfect, with those long shadows and the long depth disposal of the bales!
Beautiful golden light, great depth and perfect time to shot a rainbow, like a sign from another world.

Hello Tomasz,

Here care for the low sun for warm colour, when we the rolls follow come we close to the imminent clouds with the rainbow as real eye catcher.
Very well capture also very nice composed and good presentation. TFS.
