Photographer’s Note
Hello all Trekkers!
Today another coastal shot - sunset over Moray Firth taken from Burghead, small village in the Northern East Scotland. Low tide allowed me to get close to the sea and uncovered amazingly textured rocks usually not seen as they are under water.
This panoramic shot is created from 6 vertical shots merged together, each with 2 different exposures for increased shadow/highlight exposure control.
Post processing involved curves adjustment and shadows & highlights balnce.
I used RAW format, ISO 100, Circular Polarizer filter and tripod. Original photo size: 7000x2500 pixels @ 300dpi.

Hello Tomasz, I enjoyed a tour in your gallery. So many british-like landscapes, with cliffs, sea and dramatic sky.
Here you played very well with light and postproduction, to make a perfectly balanced picture.

A lot of work has gone into this to great effect. I like the idea of using different exposures within the individual shots to obtain the desired effect. It's something I should experiment more with.
