Photographer’s Note
To the East we have Man o'War Bay (see last post), and literally a few yards looking to the West we have Durdle Dor. Taken several minutes after sunset.

Hello Derek,
Colours are beautiful (filter or Photoshop ?) but this landscape is wonderful too. I like this arch on the left (on a "strong point", "point fort" in french) ; when the eye looks at it, it is leaded to the other cliff, on the right, and toward the sunset. Really well done !

Hi Derek,
Your last photo was already magic, this one is it just as much!
Colors are sweet and the sea seems to evaporate slowly. The almost pink sky and the turquoise blue sea an image "so girly"!

Hi Derek,
From the thumbnail, it was hard to choose between your last two photos. I went the the more detailed sky and opened it to find the lovely surprise of the rocky arch. The colors are just lovely as well.

Good morning Derek,
impressive the presentation of the Man o'War Bay in all its dimension with the arch hole in the left to steel the show..The superb lens of Canon made a little miracle.Wonderful stillness, beautiful colors , it is really nice the way the great sense of dimension interacts with those colors.Well done.
Have a nice day,Danos
PS the only thing that I would want to see, was the real colors of this scenery, in a WS.

Hi Derek
The pov is great having the natural curve around the arch and amplifying this with the wide angle. The color dominant sets a particular mood, I guess you have used a fiter here ? Beautiful place indeed !
Have a nice day JY

You have a fantastic coatline and I think Durdle Dor is one of the most famous parts of it. I guess we are all attracted to archways for some reason. I can't remember seeing it with these colours though. I can see why you were attracted to these colours. I also like the lovely smooth appearance of the sea thanks to the slow shutter.

Hello Derek
The image is powerful, the tonal range in tone violet is appreciable and successfully.
Great definition and POV.
Well done

Derek,
overall a stunning view! I love the pink sky but I'm not so sure about the pinkish landscape. Is this all natural colors or did you use a special filter?

Hi Derek,
Not only that I've learnt from your profile about your
handling a good equipment but now I've got a proof of your
knowing how to use it as well!
;-D
Apart from a few questionable details visible in this
photo (don't know about why and what was the cause of it),
I truly like the atmosphere you created here with the
slight hue of pink. Well known spot for taking photos,
and otherwise, your composition and light management
are impeccable. Looking forward to exploring the rest
of your gallery,
Robi

Bonjour Derek,

Hi Derek
Very good colours, the colours are not as strong as your previous post, a bit more subtle looking but I like it very much. I think this is also a stronger composition, i love the curve on that beach, but that rock with the hole against the smooth water is fantastic. Beautiful scene, well captured and presented.
Cheers

Nice view Derek. The pastel pinks are really good. I love the curvilinear compo and that giant door in the middle of that silky water. I would have crop a little on the top and right. Very good one!

Hello Derek!
The whole scenery is fantastic! The effect on the colors are superb!
Excellent pov and composition! I really liked the way you worked with the horizon - a real straight line in the bg (the sea), including some "islands" and also the way the sea gets in contact with the land, with so many points of interest!
TFS - Congratulations!
