Photographer's Note

Hello Everyone,

Hardcastle Craggs is a very well kept secret from many people. It is one of those places that you love, and feel you have loved ever since you were a child.

The Crags themselves are lovely, but the walk to find them, either along the bank of the stream, or through the leafy green woods, is quite enchanting. This is the view in the woods. The old stone path leads between the trees, over knolls and alongside the bubbling stream.

The journey is filled with the noise of the running water, the excited chattering of the birds or the reassuring cruch of your boots as they crush small twigs or scrape on the huge stones.

This really is one of my very favourite places.
It is on the outskirts of Hebden Bridge and you really should make the effort to visit it. But ... ssshh! It is a secret place!

Many thanks for dropping by.
Plase feel free to offer feedback on any aspect of the photograph.
Bev :-)
